The Westman Traditional Christmas Dinner Celebrates it’s 35th year!

This tradition was started in 1985 by Rocky Addison, his family, and a few close friends.

The first dinner was attended by 30 people and was held in a small church on the corner of 8th Street and Victoria Avenue in Brandon, Manitoba which Rocky owned. It outgrew the capacity of the church and was moved to the Prairie Oasis Senior Centre. The number of people attending the dinner increased to a point where the dinner had to be moved once again to a larger facility – The Victoria Inn. This past Christmas we delivered 2200 meals to shut-ins and served 2300 meals to those who attended the dinner.

The Christmas season is often a very lonely time for people from all walks of life. Everyone is welcome to come to The Victoria Inn for a nice hot meal, live entertainment, presents for the kids, fellowship and of course a visit with Santa Claus.

No one should be alone at Christmas
